1 opportunity needs review
“Remote marketing assistant, £60k, no experience needed” — flagged medium risk.
Built in the UK
Tuned for UK CV norms, employers, and grad schemes.
Risk-aware
Flags scams, free-Gmail recruiters, and unrealistic pay.
Confirms before acting
You approve every change. Audit + Undo are on by default.
Your data stays yours
Stored privately in your account. Never used to train models.
The real problem
Most students don’t fail because they lack ambition.
They fail because the path from study to work is fragmented, unstructured, and full of hidden risks. Luceria is built around that execution gap — not around more advice.
No structure
You know you should apply. You don't know what to do first, second, or when.
Missed deadlines and no follow-up
Applications sit unfinished. Recruiters go quiet. Momentum dies.
Exposure to bad opportunities
Fake jobs, pyramid 'businesses', and recruiters that don't exist. Easy to fall for when you're desperate.
Generic advice that doesn't fit
Careers services book out for weeks. AI chatbots give you everyone's CV. Neither tells you what to actually do next.
How Luceria works
From paste to plan in four moves.
Steps one and two are public and free — no signup. Steps three and four unlock inside the app.
Bring an opportunity
Paste a job ad, recruiter DM, offer email, or side-hustle pitch. Anything that landed in your inbox or feed.
Get a risk verdict
Luceria returns red flags, green flags, a verify checklist, and a proceed / pause / avoid call — UK-tuned.
Turn it into a plan
Upgrade the same opportunity into a structured workflow: tasks grouped into Today, This week, Later.
Move it forward
Tailored CV points, cover-letter drafts, follow-up emails, interview prep — all tied to this one opportunity.
What’s inside
Not a chatbot. Not a CV tool. A system.
Luceria combines workflow management, tailored application support, and scam protection — built specifically for UK transitions.
Workflow engine
Every application becomes a managed project — sequenced tasks, deadlines, and next actions, grouped by when they matter.
Scam & risk detection
Every opportunity is screened. Upfront fees, vague duties, free-email recruiters, unrealistic pay — flagged with evidence and a plain-English recommendation.
Tailored CV & cover letters
Specific edits for a specific role. Not a mass rewrite — targeted improvement points that reflect what this employer actually cares about.
Follow-ups & the hidden curriculum
When to chase. How to thank. What recruiter silence usually means. How to answer without begging. The stuff nobody teaches you.
UK realism layer
Is this salary plausible? Is this role a match for where you are? What should you prioritise instead? Honest answers, not motivational fluff.
Reflection after rejection
A structured debrief after silence or no. What happened, what to change, what to do next. Rejection becomes data, not paralysis.
Built-in protection
Screen the opportunity before it wastes your time.
Students lose hours — sometimes thousands of pounds — to opportunities that were never real. Paste any job ad, recruiter message, or “business opportunity” and Luceria returns a risk rating, the specific red flags it found, and exactly what to verify next.
- Flags upfront fees, pyramid signals, and free-email recruiters
- Quotes the evidence back — no black-box “trust us”
- Routes high-risk cases to safer alternatives and Action Fraud
“Work from your phone, flexible hours, £4,000–£8,000 per month. No experience needed. Send your details to recruit.marketing2024@gmail.com to get started. Small one-off £39 training pack required.”
Upfront fee (£39 ‘training pack’)
Legitimate UK employers never charge candidates to start work.
Unrealistic pay for no experience
£4k–£8k/month with zero qualifications is a known recruitment scam pattern.
Free-email recruiter address
Gmail addresses without a verifiable company domain are a red flag.
Vague duties, aspirational tone
No specific responsibilities, manager, or employer named.
Recommendation: Avoid
This ad matches several hallmarks of advance-fee recruitment fraud. Don’t send ID or payment. If you’ve already lost money, report to Action Fraud.
Who it’s for
For students navigating it.
For institutions supporting them.
Momentum when you’re stuck between what’s ending and what’s next.
- Turn the job you want into a plan you can finish
- Screen opportunities before they waste your effort
- Get follow-ups, thank-yous, and next steps written for you
- Understand what the silence actually means
A structured layer around applications, placements, and transitions.
- Supports students between appointments, at scale
- Surfaces friction points and scam trends across cohorts
- Complements careers teams — doesn’t replace them
- GDPR-aware, UK/EU-ready, built for institutional trust
Why Luceria exists
I’ve lived the messy version of this transition — IB, a wrong-fit degree, an NHS theatre year, anxiety, resits, and eventually a seat at PwC Flying Start. My mother lost £44,000 to an online business scam while I was figuring it out.
Luceria is the tool I wish had existed. Not motivational fluff. Structure, realism, and protection — for people who feel behind, overwhelmed, or exposed to the wrong kind of opportunity.
— Founder, Luceria
Questions
The honest answers.
Is Luceria just another CV builder or AI chatbot?+
No. Luceria is a workflow platform. CVs, cover letters, and follow-ups are outputs — not the product. The product is the system that turns an opportunity into a plan you can finish, and screens it for risk along the way.
How does the scam detection actually work?+
You paste a job ad, recruiter message, or offer. Luceria assesses it against known UK recruitment-fraud patterns — upfront fees, free-email recruiters, unrealistic pay, vague duties, pressure tactics, pyramid signals — and returns a risk rating with the specific evidence it found. It's a risk assessment, not legal certainty. We always point users to Action Fraud for suspected crime.
Who is this for?+
UK school leavers, university students (especially at institutions with limited careers support), degree apprentices, recent graduates, people considering switching or leaving a course, and anyone exposed to shady online 'opportunities' during a messy transition.
Will this replace my university careers service?+
No, and it shouldn't. Luceria is a structured layer around applications and decisions — the stuff that happens between your careers appointments. Universities partnering with us get a dashboard view of where students are stuck and where scam exposure is concentrated.
What about my data?+
UK/EU-hosted infrastructure. GDPR-aware from day one: clear consent, account deletion, no unnecessary retention. Your workflows and documents are yours. Institutional analytics are cohort-level, never individual without consent.
Is there a free tier?+
Yes. Free gives you one active workflow, limited risk checks, and basic tailoring — enough to carry one real opportunity from start to outcome. Paid unlocks unlimited workflows, follow-ups, interview prep, and deeper history.
Stop drifting. Get a plan.
One workflow. One real opportunity. Five minutes from now, you could know exactly what to do next.
